Significant Projects
Our projects have included the following:
- Selected as the sole provider of FAC consulting services to Energy Nuclear
Northeast
- SFA Conversions: Over 30 completed SFA conversion projects
- Power Uprate Studies: Quantification of the effect on FAC of proposed
power uprates
or other plant modifications at 15 different units over the last 18 months.
- Support of FAC Manager, FAC software
in use at 54 nuclear and 35 fossil units to maintain the program basis, plan and schedule inspections,
evaluate UT data, and provide for multi-site information exchange.
- Assisted LaSalle Station in developing a complete FAC program that was
subsequently recognized by INPO as excellent.
- Restart and ongoing support to Fort Calhoun Station after a steam line
rupture.
- An oxygen distribution study for a BWR plant to improve the correlation
between predicted and measured FAC wear rates.
